Fees at a Glance – Early Years & Primary
At The Learning Ladder Montessori & Academy, our fee structure is designed to be clear, transparent, and easy to understand. Below is a quick overview of fees and key payment policies for both Early Years and Primary sections.
1. Early Years (4 Months – 5.5 Years)

Important Note on Fees & Payment Options:
- All fees listed above are annual fees.
- The school offers a monthly payment plan, under which parents make twelve (12) equal monthly contributions toward the annual fee.
- A quarterly payment option is also available and is payable in four (4) equal lump sum payments, made once every quarter (covering three months at a time).
- Quarterly payments must be paid in full per quarter and cannot be apportioned or split into installments.
- This option is offered at a discounted rate for parents who subscribe to it.
- Parents who default on the quarterly payment plan will automatically be moved to the monthly payment plan, and any discount applied under the quarterly option will be forfeited.

- Mid-month enrollments are prorated

- Tuition fees are split across three terms: 40% / 35% / 25%
3.Payment Methods
- Bank transfer to the school’s official account
- Point of Sale (POS) payments at school
Note: Cash and direct USD cash payments are not accepted. All fees may be paid in USD or Kwacha equivalent, calculated at the bank selling rate on the day of payment.
4.Late Payment Policy
Late payments, after the applicable grace period, may result in the following actions:
- A second reminder will be issued if fees are not paid by the 5th of the due month, and a 10% late payment fee will be applied.
- If fees remain unpaid by the end of the second week of the month, the student’s enrolment may be temporarily suspended until full payment is received.
- Parents/guardians will be formally notified in writing prior to any suspension and/or exclusion.
5.Withdrawal & Notice Period
- Early Years: One full calendar month written notice
- Primary: One full academic term written notice
The learner must remain actively enrolled and attending school throughout the notice period. Fees remain payable during this time.
